Fred Zambrano

Fred Zambrano has been serving as a deacon since February 5, 2023 at Anchor Bible Baptist Church. The lyrics to “Amazing Grace” have profoundly impacted my life. I was lost for a long time, but God was (and is) patient with me, allowing me the time to welcome Jesus Christ into my heart. Eventually, my eyes were opened to see that God had a plan for me to serve Him. Through diligent Bible study, my heart was pierced by the words of Jeremiah 29:11-12 "[11] For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. [12] Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you." I realized that part of God’s plan is to rely on Him for direction and to call on Him in prayer. This realization led me to answer the call to serve in leadership roles in various churches. I now humbly serve as a deacon at Anchor Bible Baptist Church.
